There are several things that happened that brought about the creation of this website.
After 15+ years of working in upper management in Healthcare I was “out of a job”. I also found myself looking at my 50th birthday. I just could not bare the interviews, starting over and working 10+ hour days to for someone else’s gain. This was my opportunity to start my own business, work hard for myself and spend more time with my husband.
I really could not decide what to do so I thought I would try my hand at eBay, after all I had all these work clothes I no longer needed and I wanted to clean out my closets. So I started eBay and really enjoyed it. Feel free to check my feedback on eBay pj855. I realized as the closets emptied I needed more things to sell. So I began searching other avenues to get product and realized I should have a website. Now the problem is what should I put on my web site?
Throughout this time people that knew me would ask me to do alterations for them. I love sewing (and other all the needle arts) and found it would continue to surface. One day a friend asked if I could make her a skirt from a pair of jeans. Yes, just like the ones we wore in the sixties! This was the birth of Denim Diva Design and was only natural this was the way to go with my website.
How did ETA Scarves come about you wonder? Of course a friend of mine is an Elvis Talent Artist and I was making scarves for his shows. It was just a matter of time before I realized a site was needed for other ETA to find me and have access to the quality scarves we produce.
My husband Victor, who is retired, is also busy with the businesses . He does much of the cutting, pressing and all the shipping.
It is a pleasure to be able to do something you enjoy with someone you love. We look forward to sending some of our scarves to you. We are also planning to bring more products to out site for the need of the Elvis Talent Artist.
